How do you make your dock just a black strip like you did?
Running geektool. Most of the desktops you see are running it to display computer information, weather, music, etc.
I'm also using a black dock with the icons.

I haven't been up to date on the Mac flashing scene for a couple years now, but when I was last keeping up with it the MDD remained a problem child, and would not accept cards that worked well on the Digital Audio and Quicksilver G4s.
I bought a Radeon 9600 PRO from OWC years ago, it was an OEM card pulled from an AGP G5 tower with pins 3 & 11 taped by OWC. They stopped selling them after awhile because of problems with certain versions of the G4 but it always worked fine for me in my Digital Audio.
The bottom line is, not all cards work in all brands of G4, and the reasons for this are not fully understood in all cases. Your mileage may vary! This is why the Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB is a favorite choice for flashing, because it is one of the few cards that is known to work in all G4s.*
*With the caveat that Radeon 9800s with more or less video memory than the 128MB version don't always work, and other verisons of the 9800 (XT, XL, SE) either don't work or are not proven to work on most machines.

Happy with the outcome. Wished there were more mentions of other things. Not shocked about the prices of said iPhone. Was hoping for a basic phone/music device that could be affordable/usable by the rest of the carriers and not just for those who can spend money like it grows on trees.
I wish that Apple would get an indie band to perform instead of John Mayer or what ever his name is.
How about Wolf Parade, Modest Mouse, Broken Social Scene, Sleater-Kinney, Asobi Seksu...etc. Some band with more energy that appeals to the young, the independents.
IMO I don't think John Mayo is all that great of an artist. And that recent photo posted on MR does not do much to change my opinion.

Perhaps parents see the ideal of only having sex with one person in your entire life, of keeping sex as a complete giving of yourself reserved for the one man or woman you want to spend the rest of your life with. Perhaps parents see that hormones are not the best thing to follow and that relieving physical desires might have more emotional or psychological effects than a teenager would realize. Parents have the advantage of not being influenced by the hormones that teenagers have and can think rationally about the situation. Just because you're 18 doesn't mean that you know what's best for yourself and perhaps your parents can impart on you their experience.
I mean, if a person is an adult at 18, at the age of 18, you have absolutely no experience at being an adult. Being 18 doesn't mean you have 18 years of experience under your belt. Being 18 means you are learning to be able to make your own decisions now and should ask the advice of those who are older than you and had the chance to live more.

Apple owes you nothing. They don't announce anything anyway, so this is nothing new. Just, chill out. If you need a phone, go get a phone. The iPhone 4 is incredible tech. If you want to wait for the latest and greatest, buying something used and stick your sim card in it to get you through.

Get a $100 inkjet cd/dvd printer. I use the Epson R320 (has a few more bells and whistles). You can Google images and print just about any kind of image on your discs. They look GREAT!
Generic ink is about $15 for a complete set! Doesn't look the best for photos but works fine for labels.

I have a R200 and made a bulk-in to save some money on ink... but i'm not so much satisfied... original ink looks better anyway.
Generic ink is about $15 for a complete set! Doesn't look the best for photos but works fine for labels.

ok, i got a new m100 bt earpiece (i swear, i ONLY use it when i'm at my desk; never on the street LOL).
it automatically put a battery icon on my status bar. am impressed...is it coming from the earpiece itself? it's only there (of course) when the m100 is connected.
any way to hide/disable/kill it? i don't understand how it gets there (so can't figure out how to remove it).

I used to use FCP I found it to be overly complicated to do simple tasks. I manly focus on print design so I have not used it for several years.
Recently I have had to make several projects and I found that Premier CS5 was actually a very strong video editing package. It runs smooth, has a clean Adobe interface and everything worked out great.
While I like CS5, I absolutely hate Adobe due to their ultra crappy Indian based tech support. If you buy $10,000 worth of software from a company you don't expect them to charge you $39 just to talk to a person who is getting paid $1 per hour to read a script.
The Adobe interface is certainly nice, but Premiere does so many weird things that I can't stand it for everything it does differently and right (try duplicating a sequence, editing title tool text, and NOT have it be destructive in your older sequences). The interface is so similar to FCP now that it certainly helps ease users into it. Where with Avid I think there is a bit of a learning curve to anyone looking to switch or have to start using that software in a pinch as a freelancer.
While I love the 'no rendering' aspect of using the complete CS package, it is only practical on personal projects. Anything where I am collaborating with clients and additional graphic designers, I can't have them be updating AE comps within my sequence through dynamic link while I'm working on other things in editorial. Just not practical.

The statement was made that although iOS is comfortably in the lead in the US, that it's behind in the rest of the world. Given the closeness of the phone units sold, I'd be _VERY_ surprised if iOS had a lower penetration than Android.

Yes, it does support the new HD camera.
Photobooth takes photos in 720p, although video is done in 480. Strange.
At least, in the original DP2. 11A444d was very buggy for me with iTunes and Mail for some reason, had to downgrade, didn't think to try Photobooth then.
